Quality Control Auditor (Remote)
NAPA (North American Partners in Anesthesia) · Remote (Sunrise, FL)
- Register and audit daily work done by offshore Data Entry teams; ensure charges post correctly and on time.
- Review and correct insurance-related payor codes; determine eligibility and plan types via Availity, payer websites, payer contact, and hospital EMR.
- Identify discrepancies in patient insurance info and correct them timely; review medical records, face sheets, and EMR systems.
- Send requests for new surgeons to be added to the billing system; recommend vendor education from errors found.
- Requires HS diploma, moderate computer skills, and 1+ yr insurance verification/medical data entry (preferred); 1 yr prior EMR experience required.
- Basic billing procedures, Medicare/Medicaid, HMOs/PPOs knowledge preferred; beginner Excel, Word, Outlook.
