Claims Specialist

First Insurance Group (FNIC) · Remote (Omaha, NE)

$20.00-$30.00/hour

  • Serve as the key link in commercial and personal client relationships - educate clients on claims/loss history and advocate on their behalf.
  • Independently process and report claim information to insurers; obtain and analyze loss run reports for claim reviews.
  • Monitor large claims and suits; notify manager of losses reserved over $250K (commercial) or $50K (personal).
  • Promptly respond to insureds, insurers, and claimants; maintain electronic account files and agency management workflows (Applied Epic preferred).
  • Requires valid driver's license, resident P&C Agent's license (or willingness to pursue), MS Office, and 2-4 years commercial/personal insurance experience.
  • PTO starts at 3 weeks; flex scheduling (half-day weekly); dress-for-your-day; tuition reimbursement.
  • $20-$30/hour; medical/dental/vision, HSA, 401(k), employer-paid disability and life insurance.
