Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative

  • Handle telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries, including insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges.
  • Manage a steady volume of incoming calls (about 20 calls per day) while navigating multiple systems.
  • Answer questions about services, provider availability, insurance coverage, and visit costs; help patients schedule virtual consultations.
  • Provide technical assistance enrolling in and joining telehealth visits; investigate incorrect-cost reports and escalate to billing.
  • Guide patients through self-service options and gather feedback on provider quality and visit connectivity.
  • Requires open 24/7/365 shift flexibility, weekend availability, and a completed 3-week virtual training plus 1 week of nesting (no missed days).
  • High school diploma/GED required, plus a customer service assessment and typing test on a computer; background check required.
  • Pay is $16.50/hour with health benefits (medical, dental, vision) from day one and PTO accruing after 180 days.
